On the road to success with large sculptures

Outstanding shoes and large format 3D printing form a true symbiosis

Large-format 3D printing spices up marketing

Evil tongues claim that the question of whether size matters is as old as humanity itself, and it has probably already sparked one or the other lively debate. The answer to the question of size is not likely to be as clear in every context as in marketing, because there it must be answered with a clear “yes.”

The unambiguity of the answer is obvious, because The size of an advertising element always plays a significant role in creating impact and attention. Large advertising formats have the power to convey messages powerfully and draw the attention of the desired target group.

Attention is key

Our sculptures are able to create an impressive presence, communicate messages forcefully and stand out from other content in order to leave a lasting image in the memory of the target group — That's why it makes sense to create small-format articles using large-format 3D printing!

Correlate good work and success

The printing process used the filament polylactide (PLA), a bioplastic made from renewable raw materials such as corn starch or sugar cane. This material is characterized by its wonderful property of being biodegradable.

The project was tight in terms of time, because we received the order only three weeks before the start of the A+A trade fair in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, in the heart of the Ruhr area. Considerable time pressure was omnipresent, and our customer may have feared that his brilliant idea had come to his mind too late. Fortunately, these are precisely such time-critical projects that are our daily bread. With our highly automated machinery, we can also implement large and complex projects within a very short period of time. In this case, express delivery directly to the exhibition stand not only met the tight deadlines, but also exceeded our customer's expectations.

During the entire world's leading trade fair for safe and healthy work, the large sculptures proved to be a crowd puller and also became a selfie hotspot for young and old. Guerrilla marketing was fully successful. The shoes were seamlessly integrated into the design of the exhibition stand. The impressive size of the exhibits was astonishing and left a lasting impression on trade fair visitors and neighboring exhibitors. Thanks to this unique selling point, the presentation area became a highlight and impressed with its viral potential — ELTEN was on everyone's lips.
